Blackball is a cue sport similar to pool, played on a rectangular table with six pockets. The game uses two sets of balls: solid-colored balls numbered 1 through 7 and striped balls numbered 9 through 15, along with the crucial black 8-ball. Opponents take turns, each assigned one of the two groups, and use a cue stick to pocket their designated balls. Once a player successfully pockets all of their group's balls, they must then legally pocket the 8-ball to claim victory. Success in the game hinges on precision, strategic thinking, and careful control of the cue ball's movement.
